"I didn't realize I could be "More Than Just A Worker"
Hi My Name is Kimberly McDonald. I ain't gon lie... I never thought of owning a company growing up as a child, teenager, or anything. I was a super smart kid. My Mom is a teacher in Tennessee and my Dad was a superintendent in Mississippi. Thus, I was always destined to get a degree in something.
My parents failed to think of what I was actually destined to be. My Mom is Ms. Creative Genius, and my is Dad is Mr. Fix Any & Everything. So, I feel truly BLESSED with the gifts GOD granted me. After, being my Dad's "wing man" to fix stuff outside the house growing up as a child and being my Mom's "shadow" my entire life, gave me valuable skills that were unfortunately undervalued. It was not until I found a friend that has their own company, that I realized - this black girl can be more than a salary paid worker getting someone else rich.
I took a chance. I took a picture of something I made a ton of times for family and posted it on Etsy....... and unbelievably it sold. I added more and they sold. (This moment is still beyond my understanding, and I am TRULY THANKFUL)
I have now sold 1000+ items via Etsy and am now also selling online via this website, Amazon, and in person to my loving family, friends, and coworkers (a.k.a. my community of supporters). My next goal is to create an interactive store front!
It all started as a dream beyond the imagination, but this is proof that ANYTHING is possible. (Especially with God to help get me through sleepless nights)
In the very near future, I plan to graduate with my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (which will go well with my certificate in Computer Aided Design and Associates of Science degree in Engineering).

We originally started decorating elementary classrooms and bulletin boards. We then began making shirts, flyers, business cards, earrings, indoor decals, outdoor decals, car decals, paint parties, broken glass art, and blinging everything we could get our hands on .
